these techniques r pretty new to me. been lookin around for a spinning rod and trying to decide btwn the fast or extra fast tip for these techniques. what do u guys use?

I don't fish shaky.. But do wacky, for me, I like a fast action.. In a Kistler or Loomis way...

Personal preference. XF is better for hooksets. F casts easier. I use XF and got used to it.

To be more specific I use a 6'8MXF avid for wacky, I'd use it for shakeys too but I dont do them.

Fast usually for wacky rig.  I use a XF for shaky, but I'm not an expert on shaky.

I use the same rod for shaky/wacky, 6'8"MXF!

I fished a lot of wacky on both a 6'9" MXF EliteTech SM and a 7'0" MHF BPS Extreme and to be honest, both worked just fine for me.
