I Ain't Caught $%¡¢

Featured Replies

Went out this morning with a friend to the river which is the only body of water not frozen. Didn't catch squat. Felt nice to wet a line though.

I walked out to one of my holes yesterday...think that's enough water to fish it? Hahaha

Water was soft here but the past 24 hrs of rain made the pond I fish all muddy.... didn't catch anything either

There is a 1000 acre impoundment literally right down the street from me. I went over today to check the conditions, especally the water level which was dropped quite a bit last fall. Good news is the level is almost back to normal. Bad news is the lake is literally ice 100%. Not a single bit of open water, none.

That sux. Gonna be upwards of 80 here tomorrow. ;)

I did the same thing today with the same results. None the less it was nice to finally get out again. Now I just need to actually catch a fish, which I don't see happening anytime soon unfortunately.

I would of pitched something... could be an ambush strike.

Hahaha wish I could have, but I hiked out there before work just to check the progress...I didn't have any gear with me.

Went back to that same pond today, it's open water now. That rain really helped. Im gonna give it a go tomorrow or weds.

Today was the first day I got anything in the water. Just bank fished the little lake on my local sportmans club literally 2 miles down the road from my house. Didn't catch anything but felt good. Later this week I'll probably have the boat out on it. Thursday maybe??
