Lew's Rods

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

This may seem a little on the general side, but I have been making plans to change up my gear this spring. After checking around, doing some research, and handling some of the Lew's reels I have really fell in love. Personally I like both their spinning and casting gear, but have no real experience with their rods, nor anyone who owns them. When at the Bassmaster Classic expo I handled a few of their rods while walking through the Lew's booth, but with so much to see and do I really didn't spend much time looking through all the selection.

I'm looking for your likes and dislikes.

Thanks in advance!!!

I have recently purchased two of their new custom speed sticks and they are incredible. Blow the weight of the new e6's out of the water. Sensitive, light and powerful. For $139 a pop they are an amazing deal.

Apparently this is the first line with their own Rod designer.

Try one if you can

Used a Lew's Team HM85 6'10" MH/Fast for a good bit last summer. Outstanding rod, fished side by side with a Loomis Edge 705-1 Mag Bass, the Lew's didn't give up much at half the cost. Brian.

Got 2x Tournament SL's and love them. Just got a new Team HM85 6'10" MH and love how it feels. Got to get it wet though. With my Team Pro, it's the most balanced combo I've ever had/held.

My Tournament SL's have a Team Lew's and Team Lite and felt incredible and perfect until I held the Team Speed Stick...now I want to buy more!

Only paid $99 for the Team Speed Stick. It feels so much nicer than my Bucoo Micro that I also paid $99 for.
