Have any one use any of the Hydro Shok? It will be for my 45acp. Or what are your brand of self defense ammo? I do have Hornady Critical Defense for my 357 but was wondering about the Federal's.

I use the federal sxt.

I use .38 Spec. Hydro-Shoks in my .357 Mag. SP-101, when I'm out in public, or for home defense. Less likelyhood of a a through-shot bullet damaging other folks or property. And they perform quite well at <10 yards. Very accurate at the range too. Wish they weren't so expensive, but that's the name of the game these days.

I have used hydro shok or Speer gold dots for years

I have carried Hydra-Shoks (with an a) off and on for years.  It's a good self defense round.

I'll have to check put the Sig line. I just bought a box of Hydra Shoks last week for my 45acp.

The Federal hydroshock is great in 45.  

I really like Speer Gold Dot 230gr HP.   Hard to find but it's a nasty round.
