Truck Trout

Featured Replies

As you guys are aware the Big bass in California love feast on the planter trout that get dumped in our Reservoirs ans some of the Bass Stalkers live my the Big bait Big Fish concept. Here's my latest custom Sporty Spook I made just for one of those Big Bait kind of fisherman.

It's made out of AYC Sealed and Finished with Devcon Epoxy. It's 10" long 5.8 ounces, through wired with 4/0 6X VMC's

wow that is a VERY nice looking bait. i havent seen a hand painted trout that good in a very long time.

i like how random you made the spots. i can never manage to get them very "random".

Your baits look an awful lot like those from Bodega Bay Baits.  Is that what you are modeling these after?  Joe makes a mean Spook.

That is a great looking bait.   Makes my big baits look very small.

They Call him Pikie Mike. Mike Fixter is his name. Pretty legendary with the East Coast Striper Guys.

Joe,

You rock dude.   For those that don't know Joe his sporty spooks are just plain sick.

I've caught bass, stripers and even peacocks on his lures. ;)
