Great Start To The 2015 Season

Featured Replies

Due to our lovely Chicago weather here.  I managed to squeeze in a fishing outing on the 21st before it snowed on the 23rd....My buddy and I only caught 3 fish, all 3 were over 20" (20.5, 22 and 22.5).

She was 22.5" and about 6lbs, great fish.

Nice! ;)

Can't complain with that! Nice northern bass. What caught that beauty?

Solid fish! Iv not been that lucky yet. Nothing but chumps for me so far. Only two to be exact.

1 was caught on a strike king rattle trap and the other 2 (including the one above) were caught on lures made by KaRu Lures USA, their vibrashock (bladed jig 3/8 oz) white with pink accents.

Three quality fish for the first outing is pretty good.

Jealous, I'm out in your general direction, but haven't been able to wet a line.

Nice Fish too!

I had a bad case of cabin fever and wanted to get out anyway.  I had thoughts that maybe it was too early since ice out had just happened, but now I know better...:)

That's a chunk!!  I've yet to break the 6lb mark here.  Those vibrashocks are pretty awesome.  I've caught lots of nice fish on them.

Bass season hasn't even started yet here in wisconsin so I haven't caught a single bass yet. all I have done so far is go panfish fishing with my brothers. We saw a bunch of bass but could not fish for them. Congratulations on the nice fish!!!

Thanks Derekbass02.  No bass season yet in WI, but panfish season is open!  Crappie all day long!  Ah I miss fishing for crappie.

Dang that's a hog for up there. Every year I go up there and fish little ponds here and there but all I ever catch and see for that matter are little 12 inchers
