Shimano Jackall Poison Adrena?

Featured Replies

I don't hear this rod mentioned much on this forum. What do you guys think of it? I held it in the store and it felt great. Really considering buying one next TW sale.

If you do please share your thoughts. They look very interesting but when you can't get your hands on one without buying it first to make a decision you have to rely on someone  else's input.

they look like a sick rod to me.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. That would be an amazing combo. Thinking about getting the 6'10" mh with hg Aldebaran for jigs and plastics.

Yes, they are. Very light and balanced, and the reel seat is the most comfortable I've held. Would still like to see a response from someone who has some experience with one on the water.

I think it looks positively sexy. I mean compared to some other 200 dollar rods just in eye appeal alone it sets itself out from the crowd.

They are more like $400.00 rods. It would be nice if TW had a demo program for rods like they do reels.

Ya I've thought of that.

He might be talking about the zodias.

Saw the adrena at japan lure shop for $270. Great deal unfortunately they don't have any of the models I'm looking for

I would give the 6'10" MH and one of the 7'H a demo.

$550 for an Aldebaran/ adrena combo at jpls is definitely tempting though. :D

Slippery slope with those Jackall rods; if you give a mouse an Adrena, then he's going to want a Glorious, and so on. I think the one-year warranty scared a lot of people at the $400 price point.

Yep, my mistake. Displaying my ignorance :). They are both very good looking rods.

I agree, zodias looks great too. The question is, which one do I try first :D
