Making An Active Contribution

Featured Replies

  • Super User

So I've been an active poster on here for the last several months. I've almost reached 1,000 posts. I would like to do something (s) that would really contribute something to the forums. Would do you think would be helpful?

Again, what would you consider a contribution or help? I guess I'm thinking of reviews and the like, but help me out: What would you like to see that would help you fish better or learn more?

I would like to see more threads with radio telemetry. Paul Roberts did one not too long ago. It really helps with learning more about how bass relate to particular bodies of water. I don't see many people having access to that kind of information, but it would be cool nonetheless.

As far as something you could do, I'd say just keep participating and sharing past experiences.

More (much much more) on the habits of bass- especially adult ones, their forage, understanding structure etc. The type of stuff Tom (WRB) and others like him post about.

Don't care at all about new baits, and even less about the $100 rods and reels threads.

Good luck.

I like data tables. Which spool fits each reel, your years worth of catches and time and bait. Information and facts are a lot harder to come by than opinion.

If I had one of those I'd probably have to take up golf.

I don't know..

There is so much information on here now, that its hard to imagine that any subject about how to become a better fisherman hasn't already been written, analized or discussed about.

But that's what makes this place so great.

Just when you think you've read it all somebody will ask something that makes you go....

* Mmmm why did I think about that before?

* Wait, I can help that guy out!

* Wel, well, well I got to try that!

* I knew I did it wrong!

Just keep doing what your doing, thats the best contribution. This is an online community for bass fishing, if every post was strictly facts there would be very limited posts...and that would get boring.
