Ray Scott Signed Hat

Featured Replies

I found my hat signed by Ray scott that I won at the Brian kerschal fishing camp one year. I just thought it was pretty cool and figured I'd share. If anyone doesn't know, Ray scott is the founder of B.A.S.S.

That is neat. I have one signed by Harold Ensley, Jay Yelas, Denny Brauer and one signed by KVD :) All different hats, not the same one.

Kool.

You may want to place it in a gallon plastic storage bag with a note as to the who, when, where and why so your grand kids and their kids will know about the cap and who Ray Scott is.

I was told by an old time antiques dealer that we all need to take six-by-four note cards and write about furniture and other possessions so that our heirs will know about them and not sell , throw away or take them to Goodwill.

Great idea. Your heirs will enjoy going through your things and reading about them and their history.

Also, some things you have are valuable and your cap may be wanted by a museum to put on display.

Just food for thought.

Oops!  I forgot to mention to Scotch tape the cards to the back of the furniture or somewhere on the items so that your heirs will find them, easily.

I doubt the hat is worth any money but it is definitely something that has some sentimental value. I'll probably give this to my kid some day.
