BANJO MINNOW

Featured Replies

i know you guys think this lure might not be good, and ive listened to responses over and over again about it.  but i just keep seeing commercials about it and i dont know if i should try it or not.  The things they say on the commercial seem correct like how the hook hooks in the front so it doesnt mess with the backbone or action of the fish.  Any Advice??

When you see some the commercials for Spiderman III, don't try that at home either!

Well, there's only one thing left for you to do. Go get some and give them a shot. What do you have to lose besides a few bucks. If they don't work, then you've learned something. If the do work, then you've learned something AND boated a few fish.

Some people will tell you that they are worthless, some will tell you they are the best bait to hit the water. What does it matter? Until you try it yourself, all you got is a collection of opinions. And as a wiser man than me said, opinions are like armpits, everybody's got a couple, and they usually stink.

I can't figure out why you're saying that you hear people telling you not to get it.

In every banjo minnow thread, there are several people saying GET IT, IT WORKS!

I'm one of those people... I've used the banjo minnow for years. It works, it's not the most effective, or best lure ever created, but it sure as hell works...

To me, I prefer now the Zoom Super flukes, they have much of the SAME action, for a fraction of the price, and they sell them at all the local stores. They catch bigger bass too.. Banjo minnow I've caught one 5lb bass and nothing else over 2lbs on it.

POINT IS:

The banjo minnow does work, it looks realistic if you learn how to work it, and just like any other realistic looking bait fish, it catches bass.

It's the one thing on television that DOES work, and it works for several types of fish too.

Banjo Minnows work when anything else would have worked better.

Save yourself a lot of money and try a bag of Slug-Go or Zoom Super Flukes.

These are much better baits and they cost about 80% less!

Lets do some math.

Tru-Turn Hitchhicker,

Plus a Zoom Fluke

Plus a Gammy Finesse Hook

Equals a Banjo Minnow

Minus giving a company that is known to sell all your personal information to anybody who will pay for it.
