Most Realistic Baits?

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knows about some super-realistic baits. I just did a huge TW order, and picked up some Mann's Hardnose Snakes. I'm interested to see if anyone knows of any super-realistic baits, as I'm looking to pick some new ones up. Thanks,

Drew

P.S. ~ If anyone is interested, I have a TON of old tackle for sale. PM me and you can have my phone number to text me

Did they ask a real fish what they see to get the "fish eye" view?     Mattlures, Hinkle and Randall K make the most realistic lures I've had my hands on.

Mattlures

The most realistic lures are well tied flies. Google Fred G Hannie flies and you'll see what I mean.

Crankbaits with orange bottoms.

Don't get rid of the older lures. I rotate my lures often. I bring back the older ones that I know still work and put the newer ones sidelined on the bench. Everyone still catches fish.

Huddleston makes the most realistic crawfish (in my opinion) called Huddbugs.

And if you have stuff for sale put it in the flea market post pics and prices, or if you're willing to trade put what you would be willing to trade for.

Some of the frogs they make today are pretty darn realistic. Lots of high end swimbaits, like the Mattlures mentioned above, are highly realistic in all aspects.

3:16 Lures has some pretty cool frogs.

Those flies take the cake

I'll put it up on the flea market later this week. PM me and I'll tell you what I have and how much, if you want and I could probably trade

The top of the frog catch's the fisherman the bottom is the only thing the bass see!

That's false, if you watch Dave mercers show they showed a fish eye view of what it looks like. You could see some of the top and all of the side.

3:16 no bull frog for me as well.

Most fun lure I have ever fished.

Well they kinda stuck a camera where a fish would be and would be looking if there was a commotion. Do all of you're realistic swimbaits look like fish in the water ?

It's great to keep old lures! There good backups and when you need it most you won't have it if you get rid of them.

There a whole gaggle of plastic baits out there and nearly all of them are really lifelike. A plastic lizard with a shaky head is a good example. Plastics catch bass just as good as anything else that is intensely lifelike... and without breaking the bank.

Savage Gear's entire 3D line is a 3D scan of actual living creatures!

I actually wanted to trade old lures for other old ones.

Savage gear makes some very realistic swimbaits and soft plastics at reasonable prices and they strive to make them durable!

What the!!!!  That thing is crazy.  Shoot on tough days I would be thrilled to catch even one that size, let alone use it as bait.
