Lately I've been carrying like 4 packs of fishing line in my back pack. I use them as leaders incase I break off. My question is how do you guys carry yours? I plan on cutting them into lengths but haven't found a way to transport that won't tangle everything up need some help making room for baits lol

Put different lines into separate plastic baggies? Even if you have multiple strands in a single bag and they tangle up, they should not knot together so randomly pulling against a strand in the bag will remove a single leader.

I leave them on the spool. put them in a gallon bag. Then in my back pack. No need to pre cut leaders, take your time.

lose the leader altogether, you dont really need it...

You may very well be able to srap the leader all together, but if you want to pre rig a few, cut out a 3"x6" sheet of stiff cardboard, cut opposing slots on each short side and wrap your leaders pinched between the slots. You can also buy smaller spools of leader material but they aren't the most cost effcetive.

I carry a very small tackle bag when I'm shore fishing (or wading) and don't have much room for line. I bought 2 small 25 yd. spools of leader line a couple years ago that fit nicely in the bag. When they run low I fill them up by hand from a larger (and cheaper) spool at home.

Cardboard with slots work well, I prefer filling empty 150 yd spools, I carry 3 in my inshore fanny pack.

All those ideas sound great and they are not pre rigged. Just leaders that I put on my braided main line

I just keep the spools as is and cut leaders as needed. I'm very minimal with my tackle so I have at most two spools of leader with me.
