St. Croix Customer Service

... Is top notch!!!  I figured I would share my experience with them.  I had a slight issue with one of my rods and this was the first time I ever had to send one back so I was a bit apprehensive.  After speaking with them I felt like they really looked at my case on an individual basis and didn't give me a canned response where they were just trying to get me off the phone.  Everything was resolved in 2 phone calls exactly as I hoped for and it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.  Just received my new rod today and am super excited to try it out =)

I hope this helps anyone considering a future rod purchase knowing they stand behind their products with excellent customer support.

Yes they are a well run company with very good customer service.

Who would have expected anything else!!!!! I have found this to be true for decades,,,,, one company that still puts customer service at the top of their priorities!!!!!! Just one reason I own over 20 of them, (been thinn'n the cave) beside the fact that "I believe" they are the best rods on the planet buck for buck,,,,,,,  :thumbsup3:

X2 to everyone. I been saying this forever. They are the best in service. Glad your experience was great!

I've used them one time and they did right by me.  Great company!

Every story I've ever heard about their customer service has sounded a lot like this one. I can't recall ever hearing of someone having a bad experience. That's comforting to know since I have a couple of their rods and will probably get more in the future.

I had that happen this year as well. I had a reel seat come loose, took it up there to get it fixed knowing that the rod was past its warranty. I was just going to pay whatever the cost was to have it fixed. They didn't even question the warranty issue, just took it in and fixed it free of charge. They're definitely a top notch company that will keep me using Corix's.

What was wrong with it. Did they make you send the whole rod in. How much did that cost?

The cap at the top of the reel seat came loose so the reel wouldn't stay snug. I shipped it back to them with their FedEx program for $15. Ups wanted like $50 and St. Croix even waived my return shipping cost!

Exactly.. St croix stands behind the product!

How is G-Loomis's service? Is EX6 as good as a St. Croix? What St. Croix would you recommend if I got one?

You can't go wrong with the Avid.

St. Croix is always my choice when I buy,,, build,,, a new rod, they have anything you want from in an "AMERICAN MADE ROD" with their Premier, Avid, Elite, and Extreme models with a rod to handle any situation you can fish in, and for me they do it better than any other brand out their. Then after the sale they back you with more customer service options than any other maker on the planet, upgrade options, to customer service and warranty, Just about anything from Bluegill to Musky, I have found the perfect rod for my needs, and they are all St. Croix!!!

I made this choice over 20 years ago I have had 2 failures and both times St. Croix never questioned anything,,,, even on one Legend Elite that was over 15 years old,,, it is now their newest updated L.E.!! I have bought the latest and greatest from time to time when other brands come out with their better idea, but they don't seem to stay long,,,, I have never found one I thought was as good as what St. Croix offered for the same technique, I always go back to what serves me best,,,,,, just a picture of a few to let you know know where I turn when I want to GET "R" DONE,,,,,, :Victory:

I like American Made for sure! That is what most of my decisions are based around. (even though I just bought a Shimano.) St. Croix is also owned by Americans. That is why I buy Smith & Wesson. Owned by Americans and built in the USA.
