$150 Spinning Reel? Help!

Two Pflueger Presidents and some left over for more tackle..... I have Abu Garcia and Pflueger spinning reels in your price range. I use my Presidents more & can't really justify the extra $90, or so.

The shimano saros is the best spinning reel under $150 in my opinion.

You used to be able to find stradic fj's on fleabay for that price.

Man this forum gets a lot of love for the pflueger president just the the *** rods. I have both and have had 2 *** rods break on me as well as a president reel. And I've had the cheap plastic in the president reel break also. That would be the chrome decorative part that is plastic.

I also have 3 shimano Saharas and 2 shimano stradic ci4+. No spinning reels I the market come close to the quality of the shimanos. The president is a decent feel for the money as you can find them in sale for 10 bucks cheaper a lot of times. But if you want quality that will last go with shimano.

find a daiwa advantage in the size you want.  The 2500 is more in demand but the 3000 size should be a lot easier to find.  The sol is also a great choice.  Step it up 50 more bucks and you can get into a used certate.  They are one of the best spinning reals out there.

Is this the first second or third tread you have on this subject, I don't know which to answer on.
