Fishing Has Returned To The North!

Featured Replies

All the ice is officially gone in the last 10 days or so. Got out this past weekend on my favorite small lake in PA which will remain unnamed. Caught a lot of largemouth but no giants! Check out the video I made:

Nice video! Looked like the fish were feeding pretty good. Way to break the ice!

The ice has been out for a while now but fishing season doesn't start till May 2nd.

Nice vid!  Did you see the video I posted here w/ the giant ;) Love that lake!  Say hi if you see me out there, red and white nitro.

I did see that video! Glad you recognized the lake, lol.

Thanks guys!

Bass fishing has been slow since the start of the season here. Cold water and lots of wind. I was happy to catch a 3 pounder last week.

Nice video, you had a good day!

Very cool!  Were those pickerel or pike?

Sweet.  Nice video of your outing.

Those were a few pickerel mixed in there. Not a fan of them, lol.

I grew up in WI and have caught lots and lots and lots of pike that size in my life.  I've never caught a chain pickerel before though.  I bet they are slimy little suckers, eh?

Caught a lot of chain pickerel in NJ. South Jersey ponds mainly. The pickerel that we caught there were quite nasty, anti-social critters. Probably the same everywhere. In general I don't like to hook them but since moving to PA 11 years ago and basically having lost the ability to catch anything that swims, I would take a pickerel any day now.

LMAO..... I hate the basteerds!
