not long ago i picked up an older black shimano cumuara 6'8 medium/fast. i think the lure rating is 1/8-1/2. gonna pair it with a scorpion xt1000. what techniques would work best with this rod? topwater? senkos,soft swimbaits?

Lipless cranks, some squarebill cranks, weightless plastics, lighter jigs and texas rigs and smaller baits. It could fish alot of baits well actually.

pretty versatile rod. everything listed it can do
