Where Are The Bass Right Now? See Map

Featured Replies

This is an east shore, all gravel from 1-4 feet then gravel and rocks out to 6-9. Water temp is 60-61 degree's. Water color is dark. Wind is from the NW at 8mph.

Rained Monday, SE winds were at 15mph, Today was cloudy until noon, then sunny. Air temp was high 50s to low 60s each day. Point faces WNW.

So where should the bass be right now?  What bait would you throw?

(a known spawning area)

I think they would be on the 1st break 4 to 6ft. I would fish the transition from gravel to rock with a square bill.

They will be on the north to north east side of this point to the point in 6 to 8 ft. I would fish a series 5 or dt 10 if a crank doesn't work then a jig the same spot. If the sun was on the SE cove with no wind it is possible they could be shallow over there in dark water. Square bill or jig then.
