What Should I Use The Crucial For???

What answer are you looking for? You've asked the same thing, with slight variances, 3x's. Brian.

For the most part, you can throw any bait you want on any rod/reel combo you want.  Results may vary.  Nothing is guaranteed.  Try it and find out.  I believe that your rod has weight and line ranges printed on it, unless they have worn off.  I'd try to stay within those weight and line ranges.

Back in the day, I turned a bait casting rod into a spinning rod.  Took my dremel moto tool and ground off the  index finger trigger until it was somewhat smooth,  mounted an spinning reel into the reel seat, tightened it down and smoothed it all out with a roll of electricians tape.  It worked - didn't work perfect, but it worked.   The worst thing you can do with any of these rod/reel experiments is break the rod.   Don't worry, they will make more rods.

There is not one set answer.

Line size- Most rods will tell you what size mono or flouro will be best suited for the rod.  Your reel will also have lines sizes and how many yards of each it will hold.  You then use this to decide what works best for you, where you are fishing and what you're fishing with.

As far as what to use the rod for, try throwing different baits to determine if you like the rod for the bait you're using.  I gage it by what feels the best to me with the bait that I'm using.

I believe that rod's weight is listed between 1/8 and 3/8 with a 10# line rating. As long as you use that as a guide, you can try what you would like and see if it would work. I really have no Xp with that exact rod so this is the best I can help you. Good Luck.
