Gluing Soft Plastics To Hook

Recommended Posts

I frequently fish with senkos and weightless flukes, both tend to slide up the hook after a violent battle with a fish. I hear of some guys gluing their soft plastics to their hooks. Is this common? Suggested? Anyone have experience with this? Seems like it'd be a good idea if it works.

i have recently started doing this with the lake fork plastic swimbaits.  it makes a bait last forever!  just make sure you get rubber cement/plastic model cement and a fast drying one.  super glue didnt work. trust me once you do this glue will become part of your tackle box

Try Glenns method. I use the weedguard strands off old retired jigs.
