I need some help with fsihing a popR.  Should I pop it on a slack line or a tight line and should i pop with my rod tip up or down.  I just need some advice

A little bit of slack line does the trick. I also like to let that thing sit for a while in between pops. Mixing up the retrieve is always a good idea though.

there are many different ways to fish it! ive caught 40 bass just popping and reeling as fast as i could! with tight line i might add! so just use trial and error! try different presentations!

done that, that's a fun day!  I think this works more often than people realize.  Gets tiring though. 

The best way I've heard it explained is to pop it like a drum. Slightly slack line pop it and the return to a slightly slack line. You don't hit a drum and keep your drum stick on the drum afterwards.
