Do I only need the main/pinion gear from a Fuego? The schematic shows the main gear having holes in it and that leads me to think, I need the plastic drive gear that goes under it also.

    All my TD-Z r+ gear swaps needed main gear, pinion, the tiny drive gear and the washer. I did the 7:1 upgrade though.

     

    The exact answer would depend on which TDZ you are wanting to know about

    What gears are you swapping?  You must be pulling gears from a 103P or 100M, right?  Fuego gear set should be a straight swap if you are after the 6.3:1 ratio.  The Tackle Trap carries the 6.3:1 gear sets.
