Susquehanna Reopening

Featured Replies

Was lucky to day and got to fish the Susquehanna reopening with my buddy Mike. They close a section of the Susquehanna/Juniata and tributaries for the spawn and today was the reopening. Mike is a Fulltime Guide on the rivers and had a client cancel so he ask me and our friend Tim to go. We didn't get on the river till 11 but had an excellent day with 3 over 20" and a mess of them between 18"-20". I got lucky and took Big Fish honors with a 4-11 at 20.75". Pic is a Tim & Mike double and the 4-11. Great day on a fantastic fishery. Brian.

Great fish and even better beard!!!

Yes nice fish and beard *** here

The bearded fella is Tim "Musky" Hoover, owner of Backroom Baits. He's had that nickname since childhood and was guiding on the Susquehanna/Juniata just as long. Brian.

Awesome.

Great fish!  Musky's beard puts mine to shame, but I'm working on it... ha-ha
