Went to the local academy sports to see if they had any sales going on.  Found a Diawa Lexa 1500 spinning reel on sale for $49 and paired it with a H2O Ethos Micro 7'3 medium light rod they had on clearance for $33.  Was pretty happy to come out of there with a nice setup for under $100.  Hoping to take it out Thursday and give it a try.

    They have them for $69 online and on clearance.

     

    Too bad it isn't the $49!

    The back seat is open for you. Not sure how much you'll need a finesse rig but you never know.
