Help Finding Name For A Rig?

Featured Replies

I need some help finding out the name of a rig that was posted on BR a ltitle while ago. It was similar to a neko rig, head weighted plastic with a wacky rigged hook, but instead of the hook being wacky, it is rigged weedless, with the line coming out of the plastic at the top. I tried searching, but to be honest, I don't really know where to start? Thanks in advance. F.

Yes! I'm going to give that a try sometime soon. I know they'll bite it just because they haven't ever seen it. But I'm going to rig it with a Trick Worm. I even put some finish nails in my box for when I find the time to try it. I imagine this working around lilies or overhanging limbs.

I might substitute a floating worm and fish it through rip rap from the bank.

Back in the early 80's I read about this rig and I believe they called it the original wacky rig.
