I've been wondering what I can do with my new found hobbie then I came across the tiger wrap and was imediatly hooked I had to try so here it is tell me what ya think. My nrxt one is going to be purple and gold (LSU)

Looks very good!  Even more impressive though, is the fact that you have nice even finish across the length of the wrap...  that's unusual for someone new to rodbuilding.   :)  Here's a big 'ol "Atta Boy" for you.

Thanx! The finish needs a little touching up in one area but it's not major just a little low. The part I'm having trouble with is the chevron. Keeping the thread tight.

That looks really good. I just recently got inspired to make a crank bait. If I start getting inspired to build a rod, it's going to be your fault.

That looks killer to me :) I've just been doing marbling, the thread wraps intimidate me :-[ I agree with flechro your finish looks great, I still have trouble on winding checks
