Rigging Advice Needed

Featured Replies

Well, I have a few questions regarding rigging techniques for certain baits in my box!

  1. Reaction Strike Fathead Jr 4"
  2. RageTail Rage Toad
  3. Z-Man Saw Tail WormZ

Those are the two baits I'm assuming everybody has tried at least once or some still love to use. Here are a few that I received in my MTB within the past two months.

  1. Stanley Sidewinder Worms which have a rattle chamber on the end to add rattles
  2. BoneHead Tackle's 7" Ring Worms

I have a few "Weighted Stroker" hooks from Moaner and I use those with my Structure Bugs & when I use my Rage Toad. I don't know if these are the best for the lure but any help will do!

THANKS GUYS

Much appreciated! I just want to know what the community does also!

Any other input?

Of those baits I've only fished the toad and rigged it up exactly like the link A-Jay posted shows

Looks like a straightforward decison would be: weighted spring lock hooks like the Moaner for the rage toad (i.e., rage rig) and the swimbait. Texas or carolina/mojo rig for the three worms.

Use the weighted spring retained Owner Beast hooks for the rage toads.  They are awesome.
