I have a Black Max/Vengeance combo at my shop that's been there forever.  I was planning on giving it to a friend who is BC-less for a housewarming gift, but upon taking it out to clean it up and spool it I noticed the cast control knob is missing.  I can't find the replacement part to save my life.  I have been able to find the same part but for a silver max and I'm wondering if that's interchangeable.  

 

 

Big thanks in advance for helping me solve this ridiculously small issue any way we can.  I know he would really appreciate it and it's not doing anybody any good collecting dust in my shop.  

If you have the cap for the silver max in hand try it on. If the threads match its looking good. Then see if it does its job by slowing the spool down. Most parts like that in the same company work.

It should work. Contact Abu and they should be able to tell you for sure.

If the spacers are intact and the cap fits you should be good.
