Sorry Neighbors

During the winter when we were getting pounded with snow, I missed 1 day of work because the State issued a State of Emergency and I was forced to stay home. All other days I was starting up at 5:30 AM in Boston. The only way to get to work on time was to go out and fire the snow thrower up at 4:00 AM so I can get out of the driveway. I felt bad, but I also knew I was the only one working on the street during those snow days. We got so much snow towards the end of the winter that I think my neighbors were insulated from the noise...LOL

When I retired I promised myself....

No more getting up before 6:00 am

Only shave when she starts yelling

Throw out all the ties

And find a kid to cut the grass!!

;)

must one retire before they start all of these?  these might be my new life goals....

During the week I will cut it as early as I want, on the weekend i try not to do it before 8 but it happens.  I always figured everyone has been up for 2 hours at that point :)

Hootie, I can take the heat so I mow the field (2 acres) anytime it is dry and I feel like it.

What is going to be interesting is when we lose power at my house and the generator kicks in.

It is loud and will drive the family (Addams Family) next door nuts.

Can't wait!

Lol I think a stereotype vid of lawn customers would be hilarious! We hate working for rich people. We pull up to their house, which looks like a beach resort, mow their pristine grass, go past their huge shiny grills that probably cost more than a month's rent on my house, and try not to get grass on their BMWs and Mercedes.....and then they tell us that they can't be on a regular rotation for every other week because they don't have the money, so they'll just call us when they want it cut.

Often times  the money crowd is the slowest to pay.

A friend used to contract work for a rich neighbor. The guy was so slow to pay the bills my bud refused to work for him anymore. For the record I didn`t like his "holier than thou" attitude either, even though my property joined his.
