Mine really isn't worth posting after you've seen what Scott has haha. I have an 8' x 2' table with a cheap hand wrapper, an office chair, and an LED office lamp which is a must if you ask me.

Let's see them all, doesn't matter what I looks like, I'm probably going to be doing it on my dining room table

I don't have a picture of my work area right now but I do have pics of my wrapper, if you're looking for ideas.

I wrapped for years with a hand wrapper and all my gear in a 10 gal plastic tote.  I would have to use the dinner table to have enough flat space to work a rod.

That's what I did for a couple of years while trying to decide if this was something I truly wanted to pursue. Except for the bucket. I used a cardboard box, reinforced with duct tape, which was also my rod stand for hand wrapping.

We aquired a cabin on the lake when my wife's older brother passed away. Spent quite a bit of cash getting it into reasonable condition. The north end is the a-frame section you see. There's an identical section on the south end, which is now a small kitchen. A fifteen foot square room separates the two a-frame, with a second floor the same size accessed by the narrowest spiral staircase I've ever seen. I have to go up sideways. The whole thing is about 600 square feet.

Not very big, But big enough for me. Lee, like I told my wife, I hope I haven't built my own doghouse. I haven't had to sleep there yet. LOL.

Exactly. My lathe is 40' from my wrapping bench and I can't apply finish for about a week after turning a grip. In the process of building a dirty room for the lathe, drill press, saws and assembly bench.

Wish I could, but I don't have the space. It a case of there, or nowhere. A box fan with a furnace filter taped on clears the air in less than a day after cork sanding. Bugs are a worse problem than cork dust for me.

If I put my lathe 40' from my wrapping bench, I'd have a variety of problems. To the north would put it in my neighbor's garage. South, in an overgrown empty lot. West, in the road. East, in the lake. I don't think any of those locations are gonna work for me. LOL

get a shoe box cut some knotches to lay the blank across. put thread in coffee cups and run thread through some books "for tension" its a poor mans wrapper but it works well
