Closest Thing To A Senko?

I use a 1/8oz brass bullet weight on my Carolina rig with a 24" leader.

With a eagle claw 249w weedless hook in 9' of water from shore.

I either keep the line taunt and follow the bait down waiting for the slightest nibble. Or twitch the rod tip as it falls, working it.

Mmmmmmmmmmmkay......................smokin the drugs is bad Bill. Wat the heck are you talking about?

The bps ones are cheap last a while and you get a bunch in a pack.

I use the Trick Stick by Big Bite. I have some old purple Kinami stick worms. But I understand they're really made by Yamamoto.

Kinami baits was Derek Yamamoto , Gary Yamamoto is his Dad ...

I've used BB Cane Sticks, never the Trick Stick. Gander Mt makes some w/O-rings already inserted too I think that are the same as the Trick Stick. Do you guys find that O-rings affect the action or fall rate, or even the hookup rate?

Strike King - comes in a pack of 5 or so at WM ... Good basic color selection plus sweet potato swirl color which is unique and catches bass .

relatively speaking if you are looking for something as close to possible to the senko  as a senko I'd just use a senko. stock up on them during a sale, and you'll be in heaven. I like dingers better myself. I fish the heck out of them, and they hold up better. I am also cheap, so 2 bucks a pack vs 7 always wins out for me.

another option is to buy a mold and handpour some baits yourself and experiment with the plastisol and come up with your own take on how soft , firm , or what different colors you like

In my mind the Yamamoto is hands down the best!!! But it is spendy! So I have found the Gander Mountains name brand is just as good and a lot cheaper

An option for me that has all but replaced the Senko. The Zoom magnum finesse worn has great action, Is a ton more durable, Is quite cheap, and they catch fish.

I've never used a Senko. To expensive. I have went through hundreds of those stiff Luck E Jogger worms.
