Lews Rods

Featured Replies

Anyone have any experience with their rods. I've been looking at the tp-1 7'6 heavy for pitching and flipping. Nice looking stick even though they are not out yet. Anyone have a lews brand rod of any kind.

I just upgraded to all LEWS SPEED STICK and tornament spinning rods and a few baitcasters. I have the one piece rods. I been out a few times with them. The first time out it was a big difference between cheaper older medium action rods to these better LEWS rods. The spinning rods are ok with me. I didn't try the baitcasters yet. I'm happy so far.

I have the cheapest one... i think its called the Laser LG. My friend gave it to me, and it makes a decent frog rod. It is pretty stout for a 6,6 MH rod. Sensitivity is not that good, but what you expect out of a $40 rod lol. Other than that everything is good, other than the guides. I just don't like the stainless steel guides, as they make a loud hissing noise when casting with copoly. Just unnerves me, but it hasn't yet abraded my line.

This rod is at the 99 dollar price point and no one around me will carry them haha

Dad has the American hero rod and it's pretty solid buy.

I've got 2 Tournament SL's, a Team hm85, and an American Hero.

They make good rods. I like the hm85 better than my Falcon and I only paid $99 for it.

They said the custom speed stick is phenomenal. It's the first one from their new builder. The 2 new ones this year followed suit.

I've got 5 of the custom speed sticks and they are amazing. I was also looking into their new lines. I say get one and do a review for us!!

I'm not even sure when they're out tw says, they're up for pre order

In looking right now and it says they have 3+ Of the 7'6 tp-1 heavy in stock....

Under description it still says pre order lol

It says subject to change. Their stock says they have them so they probably came early. If they weren't in stock it would have a letter symbol...

I have a team hm85 and it has been great the few times that I have gotten to use it.

Ebay for some models. My online guy had speed sticks marked down they didn't last long.

I hear no negative so I guess here in a couple weeks I'll be the guinea pig on this one

I have the SL HM60, and the HM85.   The SL is a 7'3" XH.  It's a little tip heavy, but it's a horse though...great for throwing medium to big swimbaits and pitching/flipping.  Not punching though.   The HM85 takes the cake man.  It's incredible.  Hands down my favorite rod.   Super versatile.

They had the HM85's on sale and it was a heck of a deal. If you are comparing it to a bucco if that if your falcon rod then it's no surprise it's bettet. They are not on the same level as far as rods go. I am really looking forward to the new model they are coming out with. They are cheap and I bet they will be amazing.

Yeah, I wish I would have had the coin to grab a few more of them during the close out sale, but I'm excited about the new ones too.

Don't know how I feel about micro wave guides over KR-Concept though.
