Best Jigging Reel?

Featured Replies

A few years ago, I got my first baitcaster. I used it for jigging. Now, it is starting to not cast as far and reel as fast. I am going to buy a new reel for jigging to replace my old one. Any suggestions on reels that I should buy. (I kind of want to keep the price below $225.) Thanks

Have your reel professionally serviced and tuned with upgraded bearings, cost about $40-$50, keep the spool filled within 1/8" max line capacity.

Daiwa Tatula R 100XS, 8:1 ratio, is under $150 online.
