Lund Vs A Tree

Featured Replies

My prayers go out to the victims and their families. It just shows you can never be too careful.

Devils Lake is about 90 minutes from where I live. This was an absolute tragedy. One of my coworkers has a camper about 4 down from the guy who was driving the boat. If you knew this lake, you'd know that driving that fast even during the day that close to shore is crazy with all the submerged timber. Very sad.

Very sad, indeed.  It's easy to point fingers, but I can think of PLENTY of times when I've done careless/dangerous stuff and have been lucky enough to get away with it.  These kinds of incidents are heartbreaking, but a valuable safety lesson for all of us.

Prayers to all involved and hopes that we all will remember to be safe.

Tight lines,

Bob

Its easy to do at night . I use to use the marina lights as a navigation point. One night I couldnt find the lights but thought I knew which direction to go. Next thing I know   i was in a cove of standing timber .
