He's still a ways away from catching his "own" fish, but it certainly seems like Lake is pretty interested in fishing already :)

A few minutes later while I was trying to hook another fish for Lake to fight, I went and did what I had joking said would probably happen while I was messing around with that little Dock Demon.

Things like that is what makes you wake up every morning buddy! Great memory to have recorded!

Nothing like getting those precious moments on video. Might be the next Van Dam in the making there. :respect-059:

Great video. I loved the part when your wife said hang on to him as he was looking over the side.

My favorite part is when he asked his son "wanna kiss him, give him a lick?" :)

My wife is the typical mother hen (obviously from her comments in the video), and some of the gross boy stuff is hard for her to deal with, so I do my best to encourage the gross boy behavior  :eyebrows:  I promise he would have tried to bite it if given the chance. He'll try to eat anything we don't really want him to.

Part of the deal when we decided to have a baby was I got to choose the name for a boy and she got to choose the name for a girl, within reason of course. I don't think she was completely sold on it at first but now she loves it.

Ha, those are great memories. Cool videos!

I had the same deal with my wife and chose to go with Leonidus... I could hear your thoughts when you're wife said please hold on to your son.... "How the hell can I hold him and unhook this fish all while trying to let my boy check this fish out?" Great videos man. reminds me of all the moments I have with my boys fishing at the lake
