I just brought a new Stella fi 2500 and it came with a couple of things that I don't know what to do with, so I figured someone on here would know.

First is a small bag of small black washers, are these shims? What are people shimming on this reel?

Next is a small sheet of clear sticker strips.

Any insight is appreciated!

Sticker strips could be for adding to the bare spool so braid doesn't slip? I'm just speculating because I've never owned one.

The shims are used to fix line lay problems. If the line is bunching up at the top of the spool then add a shim under the spool. If the line bunches up atte bottom then add one above it.

Are the clear sticker strips the same shape as the reel foot? If so, you put those on the reel foot to avoid scratching it up that may be caused by your reel seat.

The stickers are to put between the reel foot and metallic reel seats.
