when they pull that kind of crap I go above their heads with a written letter. Usually gets the job done. Sometimes they even get fired. I've had 3 managers fired now by going above them straight away.  If you get fired fo being sick and you havea doctors excuse you can have some fun suing them if it's worth the trouble. or at least threaten to. 

When I have a boss like that I usually quit as well because not worth the stress. I am sure you can find another job pretty easily.

I will add that I really believe people that act like that should not be in a position of power and that workers should stand up and stand their ground. Take people like that down. Make them pay for their mistakes. If theyre going to make yoru life hard for no reason make theirs hard or get them fired.

I mean stress gets to everyone eventually, I'm not gonna try to take someone out just because they were talking out their ass on the phone... No biggie I geuss

I was sick about 8 years ago. I woke up puking and figured it was the 6pack or tacos. That I had the night before. Was the reason why I was puking. It turned out later it was not them. I was washing up after puking, and I look like a zombie. I am thinking great I have to work tonight. I tried calling in to work, and got no were. I had to go in and tell my boss. As soon as they saw me. They sent me home. In the end I don't know what got in to me, but it took a month to kill. On a Friday when I didn't have to work. I went to sleep some time Friday afternoon, and woke up 18 hours later.

She was probably having a bad day and took it out on you. It sucks, but it happens. Nothing you can do but show up to work and do you job like you're suppose to and show her that you're a good worker.

I'll be brutally honest here.

Its Wendy's. Not a career. There are other places. And in your boss's defense, she deals with manipulative entitled teenagers and middle age drug addicts on a daily basis.

If you cconsistently are not treated with due respect then contact franchise owner or move on
