Not sure how much help I can expect, but I'll be fishing at Wheeler Lake in Alabama in a few weeks and I'm looking for advice on catching smallmouth. Thus far I've yet to catch one and really want to catch a few this trip!!! No smallmouth where I live so any advice is appreciated.

    Caught a few this summer on the community hole at Wheeler state park, right in front of the cabins.  Not much help I know, only been that one time.
