What areas have small ponds already frozen over? New pond in mass has a solid coat already.

Just walked across a pond in Minnesota. Last year I was out fishing a week before Thanksgiving in southern MN

Just as I was finishing up last night, I noticed the shore that I just reeled into actually had some ice forming.  This was at about 5 pm, and I live in SW Pennsylvania.

Wow, I thought we had it bad. Still liquid water up here. I was out last Sunday and water was 43-44 degrees. I plan on being out Sunday Dec 6th, and possibly later if this little warm trend stays with us.

Hit Mary Elmer in South Jersey this morning. Water temps started at 43 and went up to 46. I had three bites, two bass and a pickerel. The Silver Rapala HJ-10 fished around submerged wood was the deal. All bites came on the pause. Worked a jig/chunk for a while but had no takers.

When the water temp hits 32 degrees F.
