Jersey Dilemma

Featured Replies

**So..I've decided that since I fish local tourneys and I Have won money a time or two, I probably need to be getting me one of those professional fishing jerseys.

My dilemma is deciding which of my sponsors I'll be advertising for with my patches. I represent quite a variety of brands in my arsenal of equipment and I want to make sure I'm fair with my limited space (I'm not very big).

I already have a Mercury hat so I'm good there. I carry about 5 different brand rods and reels and I get pretty good discounts on all them, sometimes as much as 20 percent...(depending on the sale). Can't even begin to go into all of my bait sponsors.

I see a lot of these guys on TV with there patches but evidently they don't have near the people backing them that I do. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Or if there are any of the big name brands that would be willing to just be my sole supplier of equipment, I suppose I could give in and just limit myself to one patch.**

Wow, 20% that's a huge sponsorship right there.

If you're sponsored by so many, they obviously think you're worth it so

I'd be sure to put them all on somewhere.

Wouldn't want to offend anybody, that's why they give you what they do.

The bigger the sponsor the bigger the patch.

Put them on the shirt, on the boat, on the truck, switch hats every hour if you have to.

I wish I had that problem.

Where did you get this from lol

TW sales.....20%

Which is why I have a dozen TW t-shirts and more on the way

If they were actual sponsors they would give you the jersey.

I'm not very smart.  Is this a joke or is this a serious dilemma?

If I were you (and since I have this problem on a somewhat routine basis ;)) I would get all my sponsors, sit them around a big conference table, and hire a live auctioneer to see who gets to have their logo on your jersey.

This is as funny as when I tried to get a local motorcycle club to sponsor my then booming fishing career.

You can order the shirt and pick out the logos you want on it.

My club looked into getting club shirts and the costs can be under or over $100 depending on the material, style and number of logos you want.

I was going to try to get a bail bond company and funny company logos (professional sex counseling, electrolysis, cosmetic surgery, "stuffed with love taxidermy", Shecky the Clown,  Dr. Long Fingers Proctology, Bike jockstraps, Hermie's House of Hair) but I could not find them available.

So check out fishing shirts and find the companies that have the logos you want to be put on the shirt.

Good luck and be sure to post some pics of what you get.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
