Bad Memory To Make Good Ones.

Hooked my finger. Pulled and pulled, couldn't get it out. Went to Dr. Removed it. What to do with said lure and not to have worry about it getting me again!!!! I'm so festive.

Haha, best revenge is to put some new hooks on that thing and go stick a big un!

All I've ever done is put new hooks on them and put them back in the box.

Looks like you cut the hook.  Don't do that.  Do this instead.  I removed a big spinnerbait trailer hook from a buddy, no problem. I've removed a few hooks from myself.  It works, you just have to keep the two keys he mentions in mind, keep the eye down so the hook will move straight in response to the jerk, and second, you have to commit to the jerk.  One two three jerk quickly and decively.   Do not cut the hook off.

Had the same thing happen to me once, but it was in my thumb close to the knuckle. All I had to do was add a new treble hook to my lure. The split ring was still attached.

I've heard that technique works great but I don't think it was an option when its in the tip of his finger.

Bass was still attached to the hook and shaking around a lot. That hook wouldn't budge. I couldn't cut it fast enough but good advice. Not all situations can be handled the same. My finger shakes every time I grab my crankbait rod now lol.

That doesn't work when you get hooked in the finger tip like that. The other thing is the amount of nerves in the fingertip, that is the most painful place to get hooked and if you get hooked there it is a trip to the ER.
