12/19 Everglades report

Went fishing out on the alley yesterday out of MM35. Fished the Miami Canal North. The South canal was obstructed by hyacinths. Post front conditions, high winds and high water made the outing quite challenging.

Fished from 8am-4pm, boat traffic was light. The fish activity was sporadic at best, with no discernable patterns emerging. Although the jig bite did receive the most bites.

Here are some pics of my better catches.

Enjoy!!

Nice Bass ~

Congrats

A-Jay

That's a nice catch

Nice! Especially with all this wind we have been getting

Nice report. Last few times I hit up U.S 27 the deeper finger canals produced bites but the main canals Zero. They had the Flood gates open so water was flowing pretty good south..

you should have went west and fished the pipes that go under the alley. smashed them there a week ago. we had 21 pounds and we released a mess of 3 pounders.

I heard about this area and that was my intention, but with the wind and my little tin being blown all over the place, I decided to try my luck on 35 based on the wind direction. I will fish this area soon however. Thanks BocaBasser, it's been while that I haven't seen you around.
