Glide Bait / Swimbait Storage -hard and soft baits, 8 inch down to 4

Featured Replies

Okay guys, I've been toying around with different configurations and ways to store my glide baits and bigger baits together but can't find a proper bag/box/binder , whatever.  I thought there used to be some decent swimbait storage containers on TW but I can't find what I used to see. Is there just nothing available that has large enough spaces for all of these baits? I don't want to throw them together or scratch up my hard baits either.  Would a Worm Binder with the plastic bags do the trick? To me it looks like the best option....

What do you guys use?

I built my own. Clear Rubbermaid tub big enough the tails don't touch the bottom and to fit around 30 baits. Drilled holes in the lid and ran wire through with a hook bent in so I can hang the baits by the line ties. Total cost around $10.

I use the big deep Plano's without any dividers - http://www.amazon.com/Plano-23731-01-Stowaway-Deep-Compartment/dp/B000EZ0ELQ  I put each bait in it's own ZipLoc bag with Owner Hook Keepers to keep them from becoming a tangled mess, and just lay them down like sardines in a can.

I did what bluebasser did. Works well

or use a two gallon white bucket w/lid , hit up a donut shop , they usually sell buckets w/lid for a couple of bucks , then use wire .

I've started using these extra large utility trays I got from T.W.  these are the 141-IQ and 142-IQ boxes and comes with zerust.  I use the flat dividers and sandwich the tails of glide baits to keep them flat and straight with a binder clip.
