Online Tournments Florida

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I remember when I booked a guide, he told me sometimes you can participate in online tournaments. He said a lot of the times it was a one day thing. Do you guys know of these tournaments. I doubt I would win but it would be interesting some time to participate even if its only for bragging rights

Thanks in Advance!

I tried some online tournaments once. My submissions were always accepted without issue, until I won one. Then they decided that I wasn't measuring fish exactly like they liked, so they DQ'd my entry so the guy that won every other week could win. I tried to plea my case to which I was told I could pay $150 to get my picture reviewed (it was $100 first place prize). Said some not very nice things and told them where to put their $150. No way I'd get into an online tournament for money again.

I've never done one, but it seems way too subjective.  Someone could rig it very easily.

Check for local tournaments I'd be surprised if there aren't a couple in your area.
