Bad Way To Start The Year

Featured Replies

Went fishing on the first day of the year to start it off right. Blue bird skies, 8 mph wind, 47 degree air temps. Looked like I was gonna be on a lipless or spinnerbait bite. Needless to say I rotated throughout the tackle box and ended up getting one bight all day flipping into shallow cover... missed him. So I started off the year with a skunk. Hope this isn't a sign. Tight lines for 2016.

Don't feel bad.  This time of year if I get a bite I feel lucky.  Especially after this crazy weather that just  came through.

Went out yesterday also, the water was muddy and nothing hit anything! I feel your pain.

Don't sweat it. At least you were out there. You can't get skunked or a PB if you don't try.
