Received my Live Target hollow sunfish today

Featured Replies

Havent put it in the water yet, but at first inspection, Im a little disappointed that the external weight had not been painted over at all.   Im sure the fish probably wont care, but that just seems counter productive to the idea of making the bait look as realistic as possible.  Which is Live Target's namesake.   It really is an eye sore.

The bend in the body is interesting,  as if the fish is in mid-swim.  Looking forward to see how this might effect its presentation in the water.

That's really all I have at this point

Waiting on mine

I am also surprised, LT didn't paint over the external weight. They do this with their frogs. They paint them white. The bend you speak of allows that bait to move nicely in the water. You will see when you have chance to throw it. Remember to give the bait a squeeze after a few casts. It does take on water. However the action will not be effected. Good luck!!

This is actually a good thing to me.  If it's bowed out like a hammock or a waterski it will pivot and slash on top of the water like a boat turning when it walks.  If it was just like a uniform torpedo it might have had a tendency to go under.  Also that curve will likely help the hooks find their way into that stiff upper lip once snarfed.

I can't wait to get mine but I have a feeling it will be trouble...  I have a bad habit of collecting hoarding hollow bodied frogs.

I should be getting one soon.....

Just pulled the trigger on one last night with a TW order. Can't wait until bass season to try it out.

I am going to try to hold out just a little longer but man I really want one of these. I have a pond that I know this will work very well in. It is where I learned to frog fish. It is really matted over and if that this walks even close to how it does in the promo video I know I can probably hammer them in there.

They could of done better... Another gimmick like the baitball series
