Looks Great! I like that reel seat a lot, I may try that one out on my next build this winter. I like PacBay products, but havn't seen that particular reel seat, where did you get that?

Good luck with it.  ;)

I cut 3" off the butt of the rod.  Originally, it was 7'-6".

Here is a link to the reel seat at the bottom of the page http://swamplandtackle.com/products.asp?cat=34.  Give Lance a call and he will hook you up and instruct you anyway he can.  I have been building for friends and family only so far and haven't figured up a price list yet.  I should branch out a little in the near future.

Great looking build.

Dude I'm with Dink. PM me when you come up with a price.

Great craftmansmanship!!!!

That's cool.  I like how much of the blank is exposed under the reel seat.

that's a nice looking rod. Hope it catches as many fish as it catches people's eyes.

It works very well.  The BB1 blank is actually a flippin blank designed for Terry Scroggins before he went to Carrot Stix.  It is a very versital blank.  From what I've read many guys are using it for Carolina Rigs also.  The frog bite has slowed for me so I have switched line to #17 mono and using it as a pitchin' rod with brush hogs and such.  I'm seriously considering building myself a couple more.
