  4. hello everyone my cousin is just now getting back into fishing, and he needs some help choosing a rod. he wants to spend right at 150 dollars. he told me he has been doing alot of research and is looking at a few rods, 1. powell max 2. dobyns savvy 3. st croix avid (worth the extra 20 dollars?) im going to see if i can help him by getting yall's opinion. he wants a all around MH rod. any other suggestions would help GOD BLESS
  5. i was in your positon also, i couldnt decide between the shimano citica or the revo s, but then i went to my local bass pro shops and handled a curado, then my cousin let me fish with his, and i went home and found one online for 145 free shipping! i am so glad i did to, because this is one sweet reel! i do think its worth the extra money!   10. has anyone had any experience with the daiwa advantage-hsta? i handled one in academy today and i really like how it feels. i found them on a website on sale for about 130 or 135, so its in my price range. please tell me any good/bad things about it. GOD BLESS

  12. i have been looking for a new baitcaster for my rod that my Dad got me, and it looks like my budget is about $130. i know there are alot of baitcasters in this range but what do yall think is best? i really like the daiwa tierra and the shimano citica. but i know there are reels like the bps brand and the revo s. thanks for all of yall's help!   13. thanks everyone! and yes, i am just looking for suggestions before buying. im 15, so i dont have a steady job yet until later this year, so when i get 150$ or so, i want to be sure i spend it on a rod that is good quality and will last. i really like the avid and is what i will more than likely end up getting, but i liked the looks off these to. i am going to see if the people who reccomended these will let me try them out before buying just to see if i like them. thanks for yall's help!
