Decided to throw a Texas rigged creature bait with a bullet weight around a weir dam I and a friend usually fly fish around. I saw fish busting everywhere, and I started working this baby. I felt resistance and the hard fight, headshake, and a jump of this nice bass! Im estimating about two pounds? 

Either way, I will be using creature baits a lot more now!

I cant remember the exact name, but I know it was a long Zoom creature bait, Texas rigged with a bullet weight. Im going back to that spot tomorrow with some senko worms to see what could possibly go wrong

He's right. It all starts with a story just like yours lol. Before you know it you could run a small tackle shop out of your garage! Not a bad problem to have though if you ask me!

Nice bass!  I can't get a bite on full size brush hogs for some reason.  I was on good fish last year with a certain beaver style - I ran out of the color I was using and tried a brush hog for first time in ages......couldn't get a nibble....went to baby hogs and was back to catching....I have zero confidence in the big ones

I like the baby ones as well. Not that the large ones don't work but the baby ones I get multiple uses out of. I use as trailers or T-Rigged 

Dude! you are from Louisiana right? Where have you been then? Because I have been using brush hogs (and Baby Brush hogs) for years (like 10). If they named a Louisiana State Fishing Bait, the brush hog would be in the top 3 for sure. haha

If you liked that bait, then go get the Zoom Ultravibe Craw in Watermelon/red glitter. Just as or if not better.
