Featured Replies

My attempt at a one piece deadstick bait. Same size and profile as my 3 piece ebbygill bait.

Looks like you took a bluegill out of the water and put him into some clear coat ;) Nice paint job... I want one!

WOW.  Just wow.  Your painting skills are sick dude.  Can I ask does your bait slowly sink and suspend in the water with your rod tip up?  If so I think you have a real winner there!

Very nice! 8-)  I'll bet the fish will jump all over it.

If I'm not mistaken that's a photo-finish, not paint.  Photo-finishing involves taking an image of a real fish, printing it on paper, and then gluing the paper to the bait.  It's probably the most realistic way to "paint" a bait.

Oh I see, well it still looks great, and it took some skilled craftsmanship to pull off.

Nice job.....

I had Terry at Tclark custom lures make me some larger bluegill/sunfsih lures, one biiger one like yours that runs vertical and another one with a disc on the front that runs sideways like a popper.  Both lures look great and the popper works awesome too.

did you give him some air holes in the clearcoat? lol, very nice
