I want to get a full custom rod built, what are some good blanks? What websites can I find them on? Also what is the cork on the BPS rick clunn rods and fenwick rods? It's a dark colored cork. Where can I get it? Thanks

Batson makes some very good blanks. If you can tell me something about the intended use of the rod I may be able to suggest some alternatives.

Dark colored cork would be either burnt cork or burl cork.

You're right. That's what is called burl cork.
